Worship

Liturgy Committee
The Liturgy committee helps plan the major liturgies within the church calendar and provides a great contribution to our liturgical celebrations. Meetings are open to all who wish to participate and are announced in the weekly bulletin.

Ministers of Hospitality (Ushers)
They advance the parish mission to be a “welcoming community” by cordially greeting all, assisting people to their seats, gathering the collection, ensuring bulletin availability, and maintaining a clean, comfortable environment. Men and women parishioners are welcome to serve.

Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic Ministers assist the priest presiding at Mass in the distribution of the Eucharist during Sunday and daily Liturgies. They may also be called on to visit those who are sick or homebound either at home or in the hospital. Men and women of mature faith, having gone through a period of formation, are welcome to serve.

Readers (Lectors)
Minister at liturgy by proclaiming the scriptures. They should possess a devotion to the Word of God and be willing to develop public speaking skills. Readers are given a period of formation and are provided with resource materials. All men and women parishioners of mature faith are welcome to serve.

Altar Servers
Altar Servers are a group of dedicated young men and women who serve at the “Table of the Lord,” as well as at other liturgical celebrations. All of our servers have been baptized and have received First Eucharist in the Catholic Church. Anyone who is in the fourth grade or higher may be an altar sever.
